Rossetti and Lizzie prepare to settle into married life after they return home from their honeymoon. Millais comes up with the idea of an artistic colony for the Brotherhood and their partners which Rossetti is attracted by. Lizzie is not so keen though. Rossetti flirts with William Morris’s wife, Jane. Lizzie is also abandoned by Ruskin when he withdraws his support for her art. Lizzie finds herself taking drugs to numb the pain she is feeling. Hunt attempts to win back Annie Miller. He sends Fred to ask her to marry him for him but she turns him down. Fred tells Lizzie a few home truths with devastating consequences.
